Teen Sentenced to 15 Years for Death of Rival Gang Member in Germantown
According to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, “today in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, the Honorable Rachel McGuckian sentenced defendant, Daylon Miller, 19, of Germantown, to 25 years in prison suspend all but 15 years to serve and five years of supervised probation upon release. Judge McGuckian recommended that Miller be admitted to the Patuxent Youthful Offenders Program while incarcerated.”

Gunfire strikes residence during Germantown shooting
Montgomery County detectives are investigating a shooting in Germantown on Wednesday night in which bullets struck a residence, according to police. Police said Thursday in a statement that a preliminary investigation revealed a residence was struck during the incident in the 20000 block of Staffordshire Drive and the shooting suspects had fled the scene. Thieves crash U-Haul truck into Maryland gas station in attempted ATM smash-and-grab robbery
CALVERTON, Md. - Thieves used a U-Haul truck as a battering ram to try and steal an automatic teller machine from inside a Montgomery County gas station early Tuesday morning.
