Marsan sworn in as fire chief: ‘Mission first, people always’
WESTPORT — Nicholas Marsan, a Westport firefighter since 2007 and deputy fire chief since 2022, was sworn in Monday as the Fire Department’s new chief. Monroe schools receive mental health funding

Some Danbury Residents Doing Without Hot Water
Residents of Glen Apartments in Danbury have been without hot water for days now, following a power outage that took place almost one week ago. The power went out around 9:30PM last Wednesday and was restored the next morning, but hot water issues began last Thursday afternoon. The water heater was reset and temporarily fixed, but the problem recurred again on Saturday. City Hall said a crew was working to restore hot water by the end of yesterday. Glen Apartments is managed by the Danbury Housing Authority. It serves older residents and those with disabilities.
