1.) Kansas State wing target Cam Ward

Kansas State is starting to make a move for Washington, D.C. native Cam Ward .

The wing will be taking an official visit to K-State in September, the same day the Wildcats face Arizona on the gridiron. Ward has cut his list of schools to 10. In addition to Kansas State, he advanced through Alabama, Florida State, Marquette, Maryland, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt and Virginia.

He will use four more official visits – K-State, Maryland, Michigan State and Alabama. Remember, he’s already made stops at Notre Dame, Marquette and Florida State.

    2.) Forward Nigel Walls

Nigel Walls is another major 2025 target to know.

He unofficially visited Kansas State March 9. Not much has been known about Walls since the visit, however. I would anticipate the Wildcats getting an official visit from the Houston product during the Fall. SMU also hosted Walls on an unofficial visit August 2.

3.) No. 1 prospect AJ Dybantsa

K-State is also taking a big swing for the No. 1 prospect in the country AJ Dybantsa . The Wildcats made the initial cut for the Massachusetts native. Included in Dybantsa’s top seven were Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, BYU, Kansas, Kansas State and North Carolina. As of now, Dybantsa has not scheduled any visits.

It is noteworthy to point out K-State head coach Jerome Tang traveled to Turkey to watch him compete.

    4.) Five-star guard Darryn Peterson

Elite guard Darryn Peterson advanced the Wildcats through when recently trimming his list. Also included was Arizona State, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, USC and Washington. It is believed he will visit Manhattan this month.

Other visits for the five-star guard include USC, Ohio State, Arizona State, Washington, Louisville and Kentucky. A college choice should arrive by November, and Kansas is viewed as the overwhelming leader in the clubhouse.

5.) K-State guard target Meleek Thomas

Kansas State keeps hanging around on another five-star in guard Meleek Thomas . The Pennsylvania native has cut his list of schools to seven – Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Kansas, K-State, Pitt and UConn. He has already made trips to Pitt, UConn and Auburn.

The Wildcats, Arkansas, Alabama and Kansas are all hopeful to host him for a visit as well.
