If you thought Ole Miss had a strong offseason, you clearly don't work at EA Sports.

On Thursday, Electronic Arts revealed its power rankings of the top college football offenses and defenses ahead of "EA Sports College Football 25"'s July 19th release, and the Rebels were one of the biggest snubs.

They ranked 13th in EA's rankings of top offenses (87 overall) while going unranked in its list of top 25 defenses.

Ole Miss returns 2023 starting quarterback Jaxson Dart this season. Last year, he went 233-of-358 (65.1 percent) for 3,364 yards, 23 touchdowns and five interceptions and added 404 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.

The team lost running back Quinshon Judkins to the transfer portal, but his backup, Ulysses Bentley IV, returns after rushing for 540 yards on 95 carries (5.7 yards per attempt) in 2023.

The Rebels' leading receiver from last season, Tre Harris, is also back, while head coach Lane Kiffin added former South Carolina wide receiver Antwane Wells Jr. via the transfer portal. A left foot injury limited him to three games in 2023, but he had 68 receptions, 928 yards and six touchdowns as a junior.

Kiffin was busy in the portal upgrading his defense, too, adding former Florida edge Princely Umanmielen and Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolen.

"Ole Miss fans may not even buy EA Sports CFB 25 after seeing these latest Offense/Defense Power Rankings. The disrespect of the Rebels by EA is INSANE," wrote one commenter online.

"EA Sports completely screws Ole Miss in the offensive and defensive rankings Who’s surprised?" asked another.

"Where’s Ole Miss? Why is Colorado a better team than them? That’s absurd. I mean I don’t even like ole Miss or care about them but wtf is going on," added another account.

"Ea hates Ole Miss got it," one deduced.

EA Sports might not be a fan, but sportsbooks are. According to Action Network, Ole Miss ranks third in preseason odds to win the SEC in 2024, trailing only Georgia (+195) and Texas (+315).

The Rebels (+1500) are also currently sixth in national championship betting odds.
