The only thing better than one Golden Retriever is 50 of them all in one place. Imagine stopping at the beach for a little down time only to find you've stumbled into a "Golden Hour" meetup featuring all the local Goldens! Talk about a dream come true!

The TikTok video shared by Golden Boy Brooks ( @goldenboybrooks ) shows the Charleston, SC event, and it's truly the sweetest sight! Check it out!

In the minute-long video, Brooks has the time of his life at the once-a-month Golden Retriever meetup. He and dozens of other pups are seen running and playing in the sand, splashing ocean waves, and splooting to their hearts' content.

"You have to keep an eye on your Golden," the video says, "because they all look so similar. They just blend in with each other."

Brooks seemed to love his time in the water, and Mom wondered if the dogs recognized they were all Goldens because they appeared to bond with each other so fast.

The event looked to be a hit for dogs and humans alike. Of the 163,000 likes and hundreds of comments, many of Brooks' followers are in awe of such a meetup and plan to drive to the next one, even if it's hours away.

"This is the best thing I’ve ever seen," one person wrote. "So this is what heaven looks like," another said. "I can’t think of anything better than this!!" another added, while hundreds of others stated they're moving to Charleston just to witness such a beautiful sight (and we don't blame them)!

Do Dogs Recognize Their Own Breed?

Those Retrievers seemed to have a natural kinship when put together, but is that because they're all fun-loving dogs who had a similar interest in playing or because they recognize that all the dogs are Goldens, too? Dr. Kathryn Primm says there are studies that prove dogs can differentiate different breeds just by looking at a 2-D picture of their face, which is astounding!

Watching a "Golden Hour" event means something different with that information because it means all those good boys and girls knew they were bonding with others just like them, and that's about as heartwarming as it gets.

Brooks may have been one of the many Golden Retrievers at the beach, but seeing it through his eyes makes it that much more special. Now, we just have to find Goldens of our own so we can be a part of the fun someday!
