Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan held a ribbon cutting for new Early Learning Center
MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - The Boys and Girls Club of Manhattan held a ribbon cutting today for its new Early Learning Center. The new center will serve kids from 6 weeks to 5 years old. This adds to the other 13 locations across Manhattan and Wamego, which serve elementary to 18-year-olds. There are 9 classrooms and the club is licensed for 156 kids who will participate in fun activities to prepare them for school. Club members said this facility is crucial to the region.

Ramp closures planned for North Junction in Wichita
Kansas transportation officials are planning to close some ramps from Interstate 235 at the North Junction in Wichita on Saturday. The closures will affect the ramps from northbound I-235 to northbound I-135 and northbound I-235 to eastbound K-254. The closures will allow crews to install new footing for signs. The work will take place from 5 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 20th.
