Rodeo time in Junction City
( Photos by Anthony Gorges ) The Junction City Rodeo opened Friday night. There were events ranging from bull riding to the calf scramble. The rodeo continues Saturday evening at 7:30 at the arena on South Spring Valley Road. There is a Special Needs Rodeo from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday.
USD 253, city of Emporia report issues due to global technology outage
A global technology outage has reached Emporia. Shortly before 8 am, USD 253 Emporia announced PowerSchool went unavailable as part of the outage. This is important for parents because it involves all PowerSchool features, including enrollment verification after enrollment officially opened Wednesday.
