Trade rumors and speculation surrounding Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant have intensified since the Western Conference franchise's early elimination from the NBA Playoffs.

Durant, who has two years remaining on his current contract with Phoenix, is not expected to be traded by the Suns this offseason.

NBA insider Shams Charania even went so far as to say during Wednesday's pre-NBA Draft coverage that there's a "zero percent chance" Durant will be dealt this summer.

"Add Shams to the list of reporters who are saying the Suns will not trade Kevin Durant this summer," Suns writer Gerald Bourguet posted on X.

"Said there's a 'zero percent chance.'"

Earlier on Wednesday, Suns owner Mat Ishbia took to X (formerly Twitter) with a similarly strong statement about Durant's future in Phoenix.

Durant, 35, earned his 15th career All-Star selection in 2023-24.

The 16-year NBA veteran averaged 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists across 75 games played for Phoenix last season.
