Clemson Planning To Sell Its Private Airplanes With NIL Concerns Looming
The Clemson board of trustees approved a number of athletic related initiatives on Thursday, many of which revolved around the futures of its coaches. The Tigers granted extensions to the likes of head basketball coach Brad Brownell and baseball coach Erik Bakich, among others, locking those leaders in for the foreseeable future. Both were more […] The post Clemson Planning To Sell Its Private Airplanes With NIL Concerns Looming appeared first on BroBible.
Dabo Swinney addresses Clemson’s kicking situation
Clemson’s kicking situation was not great last season, with hopes that 2024 will see a far better season for the Tigers’ special teams unit. Graduate kicker Jonathan Weitz’s run last season ended with a bang, but that was merely a band-aid after Robert Gunn III was benched. Clemson heads into the upcoming season with Gunn competing for the starting job once again, with true freshman Nolan Hauser, one of the kicking recruits in the 2024 class. Swinney and the Tigers have honed in on special teams this offseason, and they are working hard to improve. Special teams must be routine if you...

Cross-training across positions shows Clemson defensive line’s diversity
The one thing about football is that the position groups are fairly rigid. Basketball players can play at the point guard one possession and, if they have the size, small forward the next. Same with soccer, hockey, and Lacrosse, to name a few (except for goalie/keeper, of course). In football, an offensive lineman rarely makes a jump to a skill position or vice versa. However, cross-training within the position is becoming more popular. Defensive backs regularly train at corner, safety, and nickel; OL train at tackle, guard, center, and so on. Not only does it help players diversify their own talents,...
Matt Luke is keeping it real with Clemson Football fans
Matt Luke has only coached one game for Clemson Football. It was the Gator Bowl at the end of last season. Clemson won a close game, and the offensive line did their job. We couldn’t really glean anything meaningful from that single game. Luke admitted that he didn’t know all the signals and vocabulary they used. He had to rely on others to help him. That is logical but many coaches probably wouldn’t have been comfortable being that honest that they didn’t have full control over every aspect of their group.
Clemson football quarterback Cade Klubnik, like campers at his free clinic, still growing
WALHALLA — Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik reached down for a high-five. He remembers what it was like to reach up. Klubnik held a free clinic Saturday, the Cade Klubnik Youth Football Camp, at Walhalla High School. He shared smiles and then some of his knowledge at Razorback Stadium with about 200 kids ages 6 to 16. They weren't there just for autographs and T-shirts. They were there to learn something from the Clemson star.

Big 12 payout after poaching FSU, Clemson, and four other schools will dwarf ACC's current payout
Longtime college football radio host Greg Swaim reports that while the Big 12 and ACC are offering the same payouts to schools right now, that'd change if the former were to poach FSU, Clemson, and others as has been rumored. "While the Big 12 and ACC currently make roughly the...
