Clemson University sets a ’25 budget
The board of trustees at Clemson University has set a new budget with which to operate a new year of higher education. It includes the expansion of the Douthit Hills on-campus housing and the hiring of a new vice president for student affairs. And the university is highlighting the design and construction of a six-level, around 1,200-space parking facility for the newly aligned Williamson Road to the east and Perimeter Road to the south. It’s envisioned that the parking garage location will serve parking for alumni, visitors, athletic functions and prospective students on campus tours.

GREENVILLE, S.C. — The global technology outage forced many businesses to switch to cash only. Gas stations like Circle K had signs posted saying, “We are only taking cash.” First Citizens Bank closed their lobby and people could only use the drive thru. Both explaining their network was down.
Quilts of Valor on display at Upcountry History Museum in Greenville
GREENVILLE, S.C. — A special exhibit featuring 30 handmade Quilts of Valor is currently on display at theUpcountry History Museum in Greenville through Sunday. These large quilts, created by local residents, are crafted to honor veterans for their service and sacrifice. Each quilt typically takes between 40 and 50 hours to complete. Officials tell WYFF News 4 that South Carolina leads the nation in the number of quilts awarded to veterans annually.
