    Remsen woman pleads not guilty after allegedly stealing from her employer

    SIOUX COUNTY, Iowa (KCAU) — A Remsen woman who was accused of stealing from her former employer has pleaded not guilty.

    According to court documents, Essence Dinwoodie, who has been accused of stealing from her employer , has pleaded not guilty.

    She was accused of stealing after an investigation by Advance Auto Parts.

    It was said Dinwoodie allegedly admitted to stealing more than $12,000 over six months. She also allegedly admitted to putting false returns into the system on all cash returns.

    Dinwoodie’s pretrial conference will be held on August 5 at 9:30 a.m. and the jury trial will be held on Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.
