Hunt Hill's Little Explores program features hibernation topic

    2024-02-05

Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary will be hosting a Little Explorers program on Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. This is a children’s program series happening on one Saturday of each month from February to November. This month’s topic is hibernation. The outdoors is so cold, how do the animals survive?

Join Hunt Hill, N2384 Hunt Hill Road, Sarona, for a morning of stories, crafts, songs and nature activities geared toward 3–6 year olds, but all ages are welcome.

Guardians must stay for the duration of the program. Depending on the weather, a portion of the program will be held outside. Please dress appropriately to be inside and outside in the weather.

Meet at the lower level of the Richard Grand Recreation Hall. Participants will read a book, do some “hibernation yoga,” and create a hibernation craft.

Registration is not required, but strongly encouraged to be done by Feb. 16. The program is free, but donations are appreciated. Those who register ahead of time must register themselves and their child(ren). For more information or to register, visit hunthill.org or call 715-635-6543.
