QC, That’s Where! QC Ale Trail: Stompbox Brewing
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) -”Creating amplified ales’ is the motto at downtown Davenport’s Stompbox Brewing. The phrase no doubt references the choice of words used in the business name. “Stompbox” is slang for a guitar-effect pedal which allows a musician to create different sounds. Wanting to incorporate a musical theme, the owners chose the name because they similarly endeavor to create different flavors.

Even though the new "Twisters" isn't filmed in Iowa, Iowans can help victims of natural disasters by going to see the movie at Flix Brewhouse. Flix Brewhouse will donate funds from every ticket purchased to support disaster relief efforts by the American Red Cross. Proceeds from the Storm Chaser Burger Special, which is a beef burger with Havarti cheese, bacon jam, sundried tomatoes, baby arugula and seasoned tater twisters, will also be donated to the cause.
