Millburn Celebrates 4th of July with Flag Raising, Family Fun & Fireworks
MILLBURN, NJ -- On July 4, 2024, the Millburn 4th of July Committee put together a wonderful celebration, featuring a morning and evening program, to honor our nation’s founding. At 9:00 a.m., the Millburn Police Department Honor Guard presented the colors, and girl scouts raised the American flag in Taylor Park. Katie Seifer then sang the “Star Spangled Banner” and Millburn High School Student Justin Lambert performed “God Bless America” on the trumpet directly afterward. Borough of Roselle Park to Address Controversial Lawsuit at Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, July 11
ROSELLE PARK, NJ — After a controversial lawsuit settlement involving the interconnection between City of Elizabeth’s and Borough of Roselle Park’s sewer systems led to spiking sewer bills, the Borough of Roselle Park will hold a town hall meeting on Thursday, July 11 to discuss the lawsuit and settlement terms. The meeting will include an information session, and a question-and-answer period. Information will be provided by Borough professionals, including both legal counsel and engineering representatives.
