    Fresh Vegetables Giveaway Weekly In Washington, D.C.

    There are opportunities to receive free fresh veggies weekly in Washington, D.C. at three locations. The program will run through November 28, 2024 (weather permitting). It has been going on since May 14.

    The vegetables may be picked up for one hour from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

    Every Tuesday at Edgewood Roof Top Farm (Ward 5), 301 Franklin Street NE.

    Every Wednesday at Lederer Garden (Ward 7) 4801 Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue NE.

    Every Thursday at Powell Communal Farm (Ward 1) 3149 16th Street NW.

    This veggie program to benefit local residents of Washington, D.C. is under the Department of Parks and Recreation of the Government of the District of Columbia.
