Two people were seriously injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle Friday, Shelton police say. Police received several 911 calls around 10 a.m. about a crash on Walnut Tree Hill Road and Thompson Street. Police say a 21-year-old man was driving a motorcycle south on Walnut Tree Hill Road and had a 22-year-old female passenger with him. An investigation revealed a 17-year-old male was driving north on Walnut Tree Hill Road and turned left on Thompson Street, striking the motorcycle and encroaching its path of travel. Police and EMS found the motorcyclist and his passenger in the road, both with serious injuries. The pair were taken to Bridgeport Hospital. The woman suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening. The man is in intensive care with critical injuries. A
GoFundMe has been created to help him. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. Police are investigating the accident and say no enforcement action has been taken yet. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Shelton Police Department Traffic Division at 203-924-1544. "
