If you’re from Kentucky, you know there’s more to be concerned about than just Lexington Wildcats supporters and disgruntled distillers, as stated in the Southwest Journal story. There are several really dangerous locations in the Bluegrass State. It’s not only for affluent Kentucky Derby supporters. There are several eerie, high-crime cities in the state. Fortunately, RoadSnacks has compiled a list of these dangerous locations for 2022. Using the most recent crime report from the FBI, we examined data from 74 cities. We looked for property and violent offenses in every city with a population of five thousand or more.
Town hall meetings to resume in Smiths Grove
SMITHS GROVE, Ky. – With Buc-ee’s now open, it’s a great time to come together and discuss growing pains. The Warren Sheriff’s Office, along with the Smiths Grove Police Department, are hosting a town hall for the people of Smiths Grove and surrounding areas to talk about any and everything that ails them, most notably the traffic caused by new business. With Buc-ee’s conducting operations, interstate back ups have happened a few times.
Vehicle inspection fees to increase in July
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Beginning on July 15, a new mandate increasing the cost of vehicle inspections will go into effect in Kentucky. Warren County Sheriff Brett Hightower said that while the inspections only take around 15-20 minutes to complete, depending on parking in Downtown Bowling Green, that time can add up.
Park City commission passes 17-acre property rezoning
The Park City City Commission met Monday sans two members, but was able to work through its agenda quickly.
