The Buffalo Bills were dealt a massive blow before their regular season even began when they found out All-Pro linebacker Matt Milano had a torn bicep and would be out indefinitely.

The Bills are hopeful that they can get Milano back by December, but he will be out for the majority of the season at minimum.

Bills fans were crushed to find this out, but so too was general manager Brandon Beane , who admitted to getting quite emotional when he found out the news.

"I cried when I got the news," Beane said.

The Bills were without Milano for the majority of last season as well after he suffered a season-ending leg injury in London when the Bills were facing the Jacksonville Jaguars. Buffalo clearly missed their star linebacker in the playoffs against the Kansas City Chiefs, especially when it came to stopping the run.

Isiah Pacheco averaged nearly seven yards per carry against the Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs - something Milano could have helped prevent.

Buffalo's defense is certainly going to be impacted by the loss of Milano, but if they can get him back in time for a playoff run, that is the most important thing.
