Animal shelters and rescues across the Ozarks report a considerable influx of dumped and stray kittens. Spaying and neutering always help alleviate the overpopulation of kittens. The Springfield Animal Advocacy Foundation, or SAAF, performs the surgeries Monday through Thursday at its clinic on Washington Avenue off of Division. The operations cost $100 for female cats and $80 for male cats. The clinic also has special spay/neuter days for feral cats, which cost $40. KTTS, Monday Trailers & Equipment, and Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar would love to introduce you to a very special furry friend of ours. Honey is the definition of a young, friendly, sweet, energetic, and playful dog! Her tail never stops wagging, and her joy is infectious. Honey loves to play fetch, chase her own tail, and greet everyone she encounters! She’s great with kids and loves playing with her canine friends at the shelter. Honey is a 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix and does have some energy, so having somewhere she can run and play to her heart’s content is ideal! She just prefers no cats in her future home.
