Fund launched for Indigenous students in STEM following missing professor’s death in Cache County
LOGAN — A new scholarship fund was launched Tuesday in honor of a decorated STEM educator, Megan Hamilton, who recently died. Hamilton was reported missing and endangered by the Riverdale Police Department on June 25, 2024. Later that day, authorities located her body. They said there was no indication of foul play, and they believed she was suffering from a “mental episode.”
BOYS BASKETBALL: Greg Godderidge tabbed new head coach
Syracuse High School Athletics is excited to announce the hiring of Greg Godderidge as the head boys basketball coach. Coach Greg Godderidge has 13 years of coaching experience. He grew up in Farmington, Utah, graduating from Davis High School while playing football, basketball, and baseball. He has been the head coach at Syracuse Jr. High for the past 5 seasons. Coach Godderidge has also coached AAU teams ranging from 4th – 11th grades. He enjoys helping players develop individual skills that contribute to team success. Coach Godderidge is also the Special Olympics basketball coach for the Davis Defenders. He graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. He is currently the Vice President of SFR operations for Radian Group. He and his wife, Mindi, have 4 children; Luke, Cohen, Harper and Aniston. The Godderidges have been residents of Syracuse for 20 years. Go Titans!
