UTV vs vehicle crash causes serious injuries

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update : Fruitridge Avenue has been reopened.

Original : According to a post by the Terre Haute Police Department, North Fruitridge Avenue is currently closed due to an accident.

North Fruitridge Avenue is closed from Locust Street to Maple Avenue. The post to Facebook made just an hour ago states that there was a collision between a UTV and a passenger vehicle. According to the post this accident resulted in serious injuries.

There are currently crash team investigators and detectives on the scene and they are asking that the public please avoid the area. We will continue to update you as more information comes in.
