Have You Tried the New Grilled Fish at Mala Tang?

Recently, I revisited Mala Tang, a spot I used to frequent when I lived in Arlington. It's always a delight to see how places evolve and Mala Tang did not disappoint with their new grilled fish dish. The fish was perfectly roasted, accompanied by high-quality side dishes that enhanced the meal. I also indulged in some of their other offerings like the Dongpo braised pork and Yangzhou fried rice, which paired wonderfully with the fish. The portions were generous, especially the chicken, which was simply mouthwatering.

The restaurant atmosphere was pretty standard, nothing too fancy but the focus here is definitely on the food. The hot pot is a must-try with options for both regular and spicy broth. The freshness of the meats and veggies, along with a unique sauce bar, adds a nice touch to the experience. Although there were some hiccups with service speed and a mix-up with an order, the overall quality of the food makes up for it. It's a great place for anyone looking to explore a variety of flavors, especially if you're a fan of vibrant, well-prepared dishes.
