Check out Higgins’ Preseason TD

It’s been a stellar start to the 2024 NFL preseason for former Clemson players, and Tee Higgins played his part in that on Saturday.

The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver scored his team’s first touchdown of the preseason, scoring on a 10-yard pass from Joe Burrow in the opening quarter of Cincinnati’s first preseason contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Cincinnati.

Higgins hauled in the pass at the 5-yard line and then made a defender miss en route to the end zone. He had two catches for 19 yards, including the touchdown, on the scoring drive.

Higgins is playing on a one-year franchise tag this season, as he and the Bengals haven’t been able to reach a long-term deal.

The 25-year-old has racked up 257 receptions for 3,684 yards and 24 touchdowns over his first four NFL seasons since being drafted by the Bengals in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2020 draft.
