    Kentucky high school football games tonight will start later for area teams. What to know

    Because of heat in the forecast , Jefferson County Public Schools announced this morning that kickoff times for all of its football games tonight will be 7:45 p.m.

    Most games had been scheduled for 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.

    Temperature in Louisville is expected to reach 99 degrees on Friday afternoon and is forecasted to be at 91 degrees at 7 p.m.

    Here is an updated list of kickoff times for Louisville-area games . Check back here throughout the day for more updates:

    DuBois at Atherton, 7:45 p.m.

    Male at Ballard, 7:45 p.m.

    Bullitt Central at Lincoln County, 7:30 p.m.

    Pleasure Ridge Park at Bullitt East, 7:30 p.m.

    Butler at Eastern, 7:45 p.m.

    Central at St. Xavier, 7:45 p.m.

    Heritage Hills (Ind.) at Christian Academy, 7:30 p.m.

    Collins at Spencer County, 7:30 p.m.

    DeSales at North Oldham, 7 p.m.

    Doss at Bethlehem, 8 p.m.

    Fairdale at Fern Creek, 8 p.m.

    Providence (Ind.) at Holy Cross, 7 p.m.

    Jeffersontown at Shawnee, 7:45 p.m.
