Rock Solid small-business grants announced

(May 9, 2024) The Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce has awarded the sixth round of its Rock Solid grants to 12 island businesses.

They are Craftmasters of Nantucket, Nan Tuk Tuk, Pizza Gemelle, Harvest Garden & Greenhouse, Faraway Sound Productions, Fresh, Peter England Nantucket, Fog and Flame Candle Company, Piping Prints, Foggy Roots, Masterminds by Design and Studio 17.

These businesses represent a wide variety of enterprises and include both start-ups and those who have been in business for 50 years.

The Rock Solid Fund, administered by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce, provides grants to Nantucket-based small businesses to ensure their contribution toward a strong island economy. Ideally, applicants will use the award to execute an innovative project to ensure the growth and economic stability of their own business while creating a positive role model for others in the entrepreneurial community.
