What's new: North Town shows new apartment and historic downtown bar closes

A historic downtown bar closes. Plus, an apartment and new restaurant open. Here's what you missed in recent business news.

Blue Lite closes. North Town progress. Indian restaurant opens.

• Blue Lite closes: Sheboygan’s gay bar closed and will “rebrand” as a live music venue after 32 years in the community. The bar owner said the LGBTQ+ community doesn’t need the Blue Lite anymore because Sheboygan has more accepting spaces.
• North Town showcases apartment: The mixed-use development in the town of Sheboygan hosted an open house for the community last week. The latest project, the Adeline apartments, was showcased.
• The Spices opens: The restaurant, offering Indian and Nepali cuisine, opened in the former 8th Street Ale Haus in downtown Sheboygan. The Spices opened its first location in Sheboygan on South Business Drive in 2022.
