NEW PHILADELPHIA ‒ A Dover man officials allege is linked to the disappearance of a 12-year-old girl from Georgia has entered not guilty pleas to the six charges he is facing, including two counts of rape, a first-degree felony and one count of gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony.

Antonio Agustin-Ailon, 34, was arraigned Friday in the court of Common Pleas Judge Michael Ernest.

Agustin-Ailon was apprehended with the child victim, who was reported missing from Gainesville, Ga., on May 30. They were found in a Walmart parking lot in New Philadelphia by Hall County, Ga., Sheriff’s investigators in collaboration with Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s investigators on July 25.

Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations said they believe Agustin traveled to Gainesville and picked the girl up on May 29. That was the day she was last seen at her residence. Investigators said they traveled back to Agustin's house in Dover the same day.

    Gainesville is in suburban Atlanta.
