Wake Forest woman wins Aaron's sweepstakes

Even if you're feeling lucky, not many people can beat odds like 1 out of 7,000, but that's exactly what a Wake Forest woman achieved. Charborgan was one of the lucky winners of a national sweepstakes from Aaron's.

Out of nearly 50,000 people who entered nationwide, Charborgan was one of just seven to win a $15,000 grand prize. She picked up her check on May 17 along with an additional surprise at the Aaron's store at 134 Capital Boulevard.

The rent-to-own retailer also paid off her existing contracts, so she now owns her bedroom set, living room, TV and washer/dryer free and clear. She plans to use the money to go on a vacation and help her family pay for some of their critical needs. She also bought a new JBL party speaker before she left to celebrate.
