    Stefanos Tsitsipas begs Margot Robbie to attend US Open match and claims girlfriend Paula Badosa ‘approves’ of invite

    GREEK tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas has invited Margot Robbie to watch him compete at the US Open – and revealed his girlfriend approves.

    Tsitsipas was asked during an interview if there was a celebrity who has not watched him play that he would love to invite.

    “I think we all know the answer to that,” Tsitsipas said.

    “Paula approves, formal invite to Margot Robbie, please. Any tournament you want.

    “I have tickets for you. I have credentials for you, not even tickets.”

    Tsitsipas’ girlfriend Paula Badosa, who is also a professional tennis player, commented on a clip of her boyfriend’s interview.

    “I want her also in my team @steftsitsipas,” Badosa said, adding an upside-down smiley face emoji.

    This isn’t the first time Tsitsipas has attempted to invite Robbie to one of his tennis matches.

    Tsitsipas boldly made the offer after reaching the semi-finals of the Australian Open .

    “Australia is such a great country, I like a lot of Aussie things,” Tsitsipas said.

    “One of my favorite actresses comes from Australia, Margot Robbie.

    “It would be nice to see her over there one day,” the tennis star said while pointing to the stands.

    He also showed love to Robbie during Wimbledon 2023 when he revealed who his dream doubles partner would be.

    The tennis star revealed his dream doubles partner would be The Wolf of Wall Street actress.

    “My current girlfriend supports it because she is a fan too, a big fan of hers, so I would go with Margot Robbie, I’m happy with that,” Tsitsipas said.

    Meanwhile, Tsitsipas is set to begin his quest for a US Open championship starting Tuesday.

    He will play Thanasi Kokkinakis in the first round on Tuesday at 11 am Eastern Time.

    Tsitsipas is currently ranked as the 11th-best tennis player in the world.

    He has reached a ranking as high as third by the Association of Tennis Professionals making him the highest-ranked Greek, tied with Maria Sakkari.

    Badosa will compete in the second round today against Taylor Townsend with the time still to be determined.

    Tsitsipas’ girlfriend breezed through her first-round match against Viktorija Golubic on Monday.

    She defeated Golubic in straight sets 6-0 and 6-3.
