GOOD Morning Football fans have slammed the sports talk show begging the program to bring back one of its former hosts.

GMFB returned on July 29 with a new cast minus former host Jason McCourty after he left due to the show moving its studio from New York to Los Angeles .

The new cast includes former NFL defensive lineman Akbar Gbajabiamila and reporter Sherree Burruss along with former NFL linebacker Manti Te’o.

They will be joined by returning cast members Jamie Erdahl , Kyle Brandt , and Peter Schrager .

Fans stormed to social media to share their displeasure with the show since the changes took place.

“Show is unwatchable since the move! Hopefully that changes once the season starts but not optimistic,” raged one fan.

“No one laughs at @Akbar_Gbaja jokes.. he’s awful with zero chemistry. Please bring Jason [McCourty] back,” slammed a second fan.

“This show has went downhill real quick. Hopefully it changes once the games start rolling,” said a third.

On a picture shared to the GMFB X account of what sports reunion the cast would like to see most, a fan commented begging the show to bring back McCourty.

“Jamie, Kyle, Peter, and @JasonMcCourty at the TABLE again!” a fourth fan commented.

“The idiots who made the decisions to change it all up should be fired. Bet it doesn’t last one season,” claimed a fifth.

Fans who are desperately missing McCourty won’t have to wait too long to see his face again on their TVs.

The former NFL cornerback is set to appear as a full-time NFL analyst for CBS on game days, The Athletic reported .

McCourty will join Andrew Catalon and Tiki Barber on CBS and share his analysis during NFL games.

It has also been revealed that the former Miami Dolphin will be joining ESPN as a regular analyst on its studio shows, including First Take , Get Up , and NFL Live.

ESPN has not released when McCourty will make an appearance on any of the sports talk shows but will formally announce it soon, a spokesperson told The U.S. Sun.

With this season’s schedule now revealed, eager NFL fans are looking to secure tickets to their favorite games.

You can start buying tickets for some games on several sites now:

Before purchasing tickets on resale websites check pricing as they are third-party sellers and, importantly, the cost can vary depending on demand. You may pay more than an official ticket, though you can also get good last-minute deals too.

But if you can’t be there in person, don’t worry, there’s still time to set up your stream before the season starts.

You can also keep up to date with the latest NFL coverage right here at The U.S. Sun.

McCourty played in the NFL for 13 seasons for four different teams.

He took the field for the Tennesee Titans , Cleveland Browns , New England Patriots , and Dolphins.

Shortly after he retired, he entered the sports media industry joining NFL Network’s GMFB.

He replaced former NFL player Nate Burleson on the show in 2022.

McCourty co-hosted the show alongside Jamie Erdahl, Kyle Brandt, and Peter Schrager.

While co-hosting GMFB, McCourty joined CBS to call games for the 2023 season.

McCourty revealed further details on why he decided to leave his spot on GMFB while on SI Media with Jimmy Traina .

“Beyond selfish ambition within the industry to continue my career, I couldn’t come up with one good reason to move my wife and three kids out of New Jersey,” McCourty said.

“Quality of life, it wouldn’t feel like as a husband and as a father, not just a cohost on a show, how I was going to keep all those plates spinning at the same time, was also going to be a challenge.”
