The Multicultural Celebration Returns to South Lake Tahoe!

The City of South Lake Tahoe is hosting its 3rd annual Multicultural Celebration on Saturday, September 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bijou Community Park. This family-friendly event celebrates the rich cultural diversity of the community through performances, interactive activities, and local vendors.

The main stage will feature a variety of cultural performances, including traditional Scottish dance, colorful Indian dance, Native American dance, and lively Mexican folkloric dance. Attendees can also participate in hands-on demonstrations such as Scottish throwing, Aikido, and dance routines.

In addition to the performances, visitors can explore booths hosted by cultural groups and local organizations. Activities include creating cultural postcards, painting, and taking a cultural journey through Disney tunes. Local artists will paint the event slogan, "In Culture, We Thrive."

The event is free and open to everyone.

Wander Tahoe encourages visitors to carpool, use the free bike valet, or take public transportation because parking will be difficult in the area.
