    Things to do: Catch DJ Huff, Divinity Trio gospel group or Sweet Misery this weekend

    Museum fun

    The Zanesville Museum of Art is where it's at for Sunday Funday. Visit from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday to learn about and prepare for the total solar eclipse. The museum has numerous activities planned for the event including an interactive presentation by NASA-Partner Eclipse Ambassador and NSTA/Space Science Institute Eclipse Ambassador Irene Baron, games, hands-on activities, face painting and more. Guests will be able to get a free pair of eclipse glasses while supplies last. The museum will have complimentary refreshments available, and there is no charge for this event.     Eclipse viewing

    Check out the Ohio University Zanesville Campus, Lewis Telescope for a one-of-a-kind eclipse day. Beginning at 1:45 Monday, Irene Baron and others from the Zanesville Astronomy Club will gather at the Lewis Telescope to watch the total solar eclipse. Guests are encouraged to bring their blankets or lawn chairs. The Lewis Telescope is located at 1425 Newark Road in Zanesville.

    Emo Night at The Barn

    Break out the eyeliner and check out The Barn in Zanesville for an emo-themed party. Join DJ Huffy and rock out to your favorite emo hits. The party is scheduled to run from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday, April 13. Other upcoming acts at The Barn include DJ Naps on April 17 and Big Bad Stache on April 18.     Gospel music

    Divinity Trio will perform at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, at the First Church of God. Each member previously performed with gospel artists across the US and Canada before the group was formed four years ago. The church is located at 1930 Newark Road, Zanesville.

    Sweet Misery

    Get ready to rock as Sweet Misery performs at Kick-N-Ax. The show is scheduled to run from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday. Upcoming at the venue is Nic Wig, who will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, April 12 and Just Angelo at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 13. For more information call 740-487-0007.
