🚧 Resurfacing Project to Close SR 114 and SR 55 in Newton County 🚧

Motorists in Northwest Indiana are advised that beginning on or after Thursday, March 28, State Road 114 will be closed between County Road 200 East and State Road 55 in Newton County for a resurfacing project. This closure is expected to last through mid-June. Additionally, the intersection of State Road 55 and State Road 114 will be closed. An official detour route will redirect traffic via I-65, State Road 14, and U.S. 41, which will extend to State Road 16 for the areas affected by the closure of the SR 55 intersection. Drivers are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and expect delays in the area.
