Brenna Swindell, 29, and her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, were last seen together about 10:20 p.m. Thursday at Poodies Hilltop Roadhouse in Spicewood, according to Austin police .

"PLEASE HELP. Our daughter Breanna Swindell has not been seen or heard from in the Austin area since late Thursday afternoon," her mother Sarah Swindell first posted on Facebook on Sunday. "Her phone is off and she has not been in contact with family, friends, and most importantly her children. Her ex-boyfriend in the photo has a warrant and is violent so PLEASE if you have seen or heard from either one of them, let us know.

Both of their phones have been turned off since Friday, authorities said.

Brenna Swindell, a hair stylist at a salon in Austin, has not posted on Facebook since Aug. 13 .

"Ms. Swindell has not been in usual contact with her family and friends," police said in a news release. "APD is concerned about her safety and immediate welfare."

Law enforcement tracked her white 2022 Kia Carnival to Colorado on Friday.

Guidry and her van possibly were sighted in Colorado Springs, according to a flyer shared by the organization Missing People in America.

A day after Swindell's disappearance, an affidavit obtained by the Austin American-Statesman alleged Guidry strangled his girlfriend multiple times and slammed her head onto the floor at an apartment complex on July 7.

Authorities, who responded to the apartment, found out Guidry had left with his rifle, but loose ammunition was on the ground, the affidavit says.

The woman suffered injuries to her clavicle, head, neck and hand.

Swindell, fearing that Guidry would kill her, told deputies she threw a box of ammunition on the ground and ran to an exit while Guidry grabbed a rifle.

Sarah Swindell confirmed to the American-Statesman that the unidentified victim in the affidavit was her daughter.

She is 5-foot-5 and about 120 pounds with brown shoulder-length hair. She has a sleeve tattoo with flowers on one arm and a spider web on the other shoulder.

Swindell played for the University of Texas and had a 17-year career in the major leagues with the Cleveland Guardians, Cincinnati Reds, Houston Astros, Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks.
