This was an important play for everyone involved. St. Brown needed to help his case amid competition for the final roster spots at wide receiver, while Rattler had to make this throw to get a point in his favor while fighting with Jake Haener to back up Derek Carr.

So it’s good to see both players rise to the occasion. And seeing the play from the field level rather than the high-angle broadcast view gives you some stronger appreciation for how big and fast these athletes are, and how the game can come down to a matter of inches.
