There is a new tea business in town with a unique twist. Steep Street Company recently moved into lower level of the Laurie Terrace Mall. Co-owners Amber Lucks and Nick Lynch have brought a warehouse for their online business to the West Side. The couple have built an internet merchant business that took off quickly, necessitating a production facility outside of their home.

Originally from St. Louis, Lucks and Lynch relocated to Laurie this past year. They are a veteran owned business.

Hand blending their own varieties of beneficial teas, Steep Street Company teas are designed for reusable devices such as muslin tea bags or metal steep pods.

With no dyes or preservatives, the completely natural herbal blends give customers choices such as their best selling product, Hips Don’t Lie, with Rose Hips, Gunpowder Green Tea, and Peach blossoms and morsels, or Lavender Lullaby which contains Lavender, Chamomile, Rose Petals, and Calendula. There are 11 varieties in all from Steep Street Company available on their website at www.steepstreetco.com with a variation of sizes as well.

The simple to navigate shopping cart offers their blends by the 0.5 ounce, 2 ounce, or 4 ounce packages. Then there are the bundles. Lucks and Lynch prepare a fan favorite bundle of their best sellers including Atomic Gold, Purple Haze, and Hips Don’t Lie. Other three package bundles are of the variety that one desires to have in beneficial qualities such as the Energizing, Beauty, or Brainiac Bundle.

Steep Street Company offers a couple of necessary accessories to the pure tea lover. A metal ball steeper is for those that like to brew a whole pot. Tea filter bags can be purchased to use for the individual cup drinker.

Loyalty customers can enjoy discounts by joining the company email list on their website.

Currently, Steep Street Company in the Laurie Terrace Mall is an online production facility only.

Steep Street Tea is seeing steady growth in the digital marketplace on social media outlets. By launching their business on Instagram and Facebook, as well as their merchant site, immediate sales came through for the couple, to their delight.
