A son was born to Aviation Cadet and Mrs. Jack Conway. • Robert Middleton was stationed at Keesler Field. • The Wisconsin State Memorial in the Vicksburg National Military Park was damaged by a storm.

A Vicksburg man was in jail after being arrested and charged with breaking into the vacant Culkin Academy and stealing parts of the air conditioners.
