(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The FBI is looking for a bank robber who hit two branches in the south suburbs on Friday.

The FBI believes the same man is responsible for both robberies.

The first happened at the Old National Bank on Dixie Highway in Chicago Heights at about 4:50 p.m. The second was an hour later, at the Fifth Third Bank on Cicero in Oak Forest, about 11 miles away.

The bureau says surveillance footage from both banks shows the man wearing a similar outfit and using the same silver handgun.

No one was injured in either robbery.
