Big Timber Brewing celebrating its 10th anniversary in May with live music, Beer Olympics

ELKINS, W.Va. (WBOY) — Big Timber Brewing in Elkins, West Virginia is celebrating 10 years of beer brewing in May and is busting out kegs, special events and live music to celebrate the occasion.

The celebration will be held on May 4 with the Beer Olympics starting at noon. Attendees will want to score as many points as possible across the following events to win prizes:

• Corn Hole Switcholio – A round-robin where you get a new partner each round
• Keg race – Race for the fastest time from point A to point B with an empty keg between your legs
• Stein Holding Competition
• Keg Toss – Toss an empty keg as far as you can
• Big Timber Trivia – Big Timber and beer-related trivia questions

Your top three scores will be combined into a final total, so you don’t have to compete in every event.

Big Timber is also bringing back fan-favorite beers from years past with what it is calling “10 Beers for 10 Years.” The brewery’s most popular one-offs and seasonals will return for the event and be available on draft.

The event will feature two live musical acts and will have a $10 cover:

• Juice Newsom and the Groove @ 5 p.m.
• Electro Lust @ 8 p.m.

Food for the event will be catered by The Charm Farm , including bratwurst and other “munchies.” The Elkins Montessori Early Learning Center will also sell popcorn at the event as part of its own fundraiser.
