Vermilion County offering survey on rebrand

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — Vermilion County officials want residents to voice their opinions on a county-wide rebranding with a survey.

The 17-question survey is open to anyone who lives, works or regularly visits the county. In addition to the survey, the county is also implementing stakeholder interviews and focus group testing.

Some questions in the survey include asking what best feature defines Vermilion County, ranking themes for the county, and ways to receive information on the county.

After all research is complete, the county will develop a new logo and tagline, as well as write a communication plan. The rebrand project is the first part of the county’s 200th anniversary celebration for 2026.
