HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A woman that was arrested in a bizarre domestic violence case will serve no more jail time.

Tamatha Lant pled guilty to misdemeanor domestic battery in Vanderburgh Circuit Court. The original charge according to court documents was Domestic Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon. Charges of Intimidation and False Informing Resulting in Substantial Hinderance to a Law Enforcement were dismissed as part of the deal.

Vanderburgh County deputies were dispatched to Emma Drive for the DV run back in May. They originally believed Lant was the victim in the incident but later found out she was the aggressor after allegedly lying to law enforcement about being assaulted and being held against her will.

The real victim, Kenneth Myers, said Lant attacked him with a kitchen knife after going through his phone. Myers said Lant stabbed him in the thigh and cut his thumb.
