Pennsylvania man loses $90,000 over one year in gift card scam
LONGSWAMP TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM)– Pennsylvania State Police say a man fell victim to a gift card scam for a year, losing thousands of dollars. State Police in Reading say they were investigating a theft by deception when an Alburtis man in his 70s reported a possible scam on July 1. Troopers say the man reported losing approximately $90,000 in Apple gift cards over the course of a year.

Pennsylvania mother accused of biting toddler
UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – A Pennsylvania woman is facing charges for allegedly biting her young son. Pennsylvania State Police in Reading say on July 7 they responded to an address in Birdsboro for a reported domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Troopers say it was determined that the woman had bitten her 4-year-old son, causing a forearm injury.
