READING, Pa. - Lachlan Wells hurled seven shutout innings as the Fightin Phils snapped a four-game losing streak with a 1-0 win over Akron on Saturday at FirstEnergy Stadium. Carson Taylor gave Wells all the support he would need with a solo home run in the fourth inning. Wells allowed only three hits and Cristian Hernandez struck out the side in the eighth and Andrew Schultz retired the side in the ninth for his second save.

READING, Pa. - The Fightin Phils scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth inning for a 7-6 walkoff win over Akron on Sunday evening at FirstEnergy Stadium. Trailing 6-5, Reading struck for four consecutive hits in the bottom of the frame. Josh Breaux doubled to lead off the ninth and scored the equalizer on a Baron Radcliff double.
