Fundraiser Reaches Goal For Funeral Westhill HS Student Found Dead In New Canaan
Santos Eujedo Perez, exact age not provided, of Stamford, was found dead Tuesday, July 9, in New Canaan in a wooded area after working at a construction site. Perez, a quiet but friendly Westhill High School student, was reported missing by family on Monday, July 8, according to the New Cannan Police.

Greenwich High football team looking to Michael D’Angelo, Nick Wells for leadership at the quarterback position
Rocco Grillo was the starting quarterback for the Greenwich High School football team in 2023, a role he filled exceptionally well while leading the Cardinals to the semifinal-round of the CIAC Class LL Tournament. Grillo graduated last month and is heading to Fordham University, where he will take his football skills, so it’s time for new leadership at the quarterback spot for Greenwich, a position the team has received a wealth of production from over the years.
Greenwich United Way’s Reading Champions Celebrates 16th Graduation
The Greenwich United Way’s Reading Champions program completed its 16th year of literacy support, helping improve reading fluency among Greenwich elementary students. A committed partner to Greenwich Public Schools (GPS), Reading Champions is the largest volunteer-driven early literacy program in town. In the 2023-2024 school year, 120 volunteers supported 350 students with one-on-one tutoring sessions in all 11 Greenwich Public Schools and five after-school programs.
