    Local lottery player’s scratch-off worth $50,000

    NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio (WJW) – A lottery player who picked up a scratch-off in New Philadelphia landed a big prize.

    A player purchased a $30 Extreme Millions scratch-off ticket at Marty’s Coaches Corner on High Ave.

    The winner will take home $36,000 after state and federal taxes.

    Extreme Millions has a top prize of $400,000 a year for 25 years.

    The Ohio Lottery reports there are two top prizes remaining in the game as of July 11.

    There are 17 remaining $50,000 prizes in the game.
