Discount drug store coming to Columbiana County

COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) — Discount Drug Mart will open the doors next month at its newest location in Columbiana.

The new Discount Drug Mart is located at 14450 South Avenue. The store and pharmacy will open at 8 a.m. Sept. 11, followed by a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at 9 a.m.

The company says the community has been welcoming to Drug Mart, especially as it moves in on the heels of the Rite Aid closure .

“We’re thrilled to have Discount Drug Mart open and providing all their services and
goods to our community,” said Columbiana Mayor Rick Noel. “They’ve been a pleasure to work with and I wish them all the best as they join our Columbiana family.”

According to a press release, this location also has a full range of patient health solutions including a pharmacy in addition to home health care.

This newest location marks Discount Drug Mart’s 79th location in Ohio. There is another location in the county on OH-45 in Lisbon.
