We are still holding on to relatively dry and and relatively low dew points in the mid to upper 50s. That is still keeping things rather comfortable and it is certainly better than dew points in the low 70s and temperatures in the 90s. We will see sunshine today. There have been upper troughs rotating around an upper low in Eastern Canada and you can see it clearly on the satellite loop but most of the clouds with this are well to the northeast so we should be no worse than partly sunny today and at times mostly sunny. Last week, a 32-year-old was arrested on trafficking charges after allegedly fleeing from a traffic stop and abandoning the vehicle with a child in the passenger seat. The chase resulted in the discovery of 230 grams of methamphetamine, which the suspect allegedly threw out while fleeing on foot. According to local detectives, the vehicle the suspect was driving was registered to NFL football player Tyreek Hill.

We have arrived at the doorstep of the weekend and we are going to have one last day of sunshine and low humidity before things change. Satellite loops show an upper trough to the northeast over Atlantic Canada. That is slowing down the next upper trough and cold front that is moving across the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. This leaves is in sunshine for much of the day and temperatures will be topping out in a range of 80 to 85. Dew points will remain reasonable in the mid to upper 50s. No rain is in the forecast for today and overnight. Humidity levels across the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic will begin rising as a southerly flow develops along the East Coast bringing in low level moisture. Saturday morning lows will be in the 60s for the most part. Now as far as the weekend goes, if you have to pick one day I would go with Saturday over Sunday.

She has been nursed back to health and is doing wonderfully. While her age and exact history is unknown, it is clear she has mothered more than enough litters in her short lifetime.”
