Powerball & Mega Millions adding up to $2B

FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — How would you like to win nearly two billion dollars?

That’s how much money is up for grabs when you combine the jackpots for Mega Millions and Powerball. The Powerball jackpot is an estimated 800 million dollars, while the Mega Millions jackpot Is an estimated one-point-one billion.

Adam Hartman is the owner of the Fort Harrison Mini Mart and he’s seen a lot of excitement among his customers who are hoping to win big.

“There have been a lot of people buying them in groups, so you’ll see a lot of people buying a hundred dollars worth, two hundred dollars worth at a time, hoping to get lucky,” Hartman said.
