    VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Finding yourself with hard to dispose of large items after your spring cleaning?

    “Accepted items include household furniture, mattresses, large toys, carpeting tied in three (3) foot bundles, and appliances not containing chlorofluorocarbons (CFSs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HCFCs) such as refrigerators and air conditioners,” a news release reads.

    Those disposing of items will be required to show photo identification with their in-city address listed to verify they are a resident.

    Items not accepted include;

    • construction debris
    • building materials
    • tires
    • paint
    • liquid waste
    • electronics
    • hazardous waste
