LSU Tigers offensive lineman Will Campbell.

The NIL era has been controversial, to say the least, but there's nothing controversial about using your hard-earned cash to help out some friends

For LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell, that meant using an NIL deal he earned with Bose to give back to the rest of the offensive linemen (and staff) on the LSU squad. He had to make sure the people around him were "right", and ultimately, he gifted nearly $10,000 in Bose products, per Pete Nakos of On3 .

“Y’all know I love y’all and appreciate y’all,” Campbell said in the posted video. “I was lucky enough to partner up with Bose and get everybody a pair of headphones.”

Now that's how you do NIL right.

Campbell isn't the first to use NIL to help others (former Michigan running back Blake Corum famously used his NIL money to help people around Thanksgiving ) and he won't be the last.

It is just nice to see players who deserve to get paid be generous with those around them. In a world where recruits are getting potentially millions before even stepping on the school's sideline, it's good to see that there's still a level of decency in the NIL space.

Campbell, a junior, was a first-team All-SEC honoree by the coaches last season and a second-team All-SEC selection by the AP. He's expected to be one of the top tackles in college football this season.
